Penn Station- Where Holden first arrives in New York City after being kicked out of Pency
The Duck Pond- Holden passes by a pond on his way to his hotel. He asks the driver if he knows were the ducks go when it freezes over
The Edmont Hotel- The Hotel where Holden spends his First night in New York after taking a cab from Penn Station
Cafe- Holden stops at a cafe on his way to Broadway for breakfast. While there he meets two nuns and discusses Romeo and Juliet
Record Store- Holden stops at a record store in Broadway in search of a record for his little sister Phoebe "Little Shirley Beans"
I Know My Love- The theater where Holden takes Sally to see the play I Know My Love, featuring the Lunts.
Radio City Ice Rink- Skating rink where Holden and Sally go skating after viewing the play I Know My Love
Wicker Bar- Part of Seton Hotel, Holden meets Luce, a friend of his and former student adviser from Whooton. After getting thoroughly drunk, he makes a call to Sally's house where she tells him to go home.
Holden's Apartment Building- Holden's family's home. He sneaks in to see his little sister after getting drunk at the Wicker Bar. He then sneaks back out before his parents can discover that he has been kicked out of Pency, and spends the night at a neighbour and family friends' house, the Antolinis' apartment.
Merry Go Round in Central Park- The merry go round that Holden pays for Phoebe to go on. Also where he decides to stop telling his story, and he returns to telling us about whatever hospital he's in, in California.
